Terms & Conditions

Version 0.1 · August 2026

1. Who we are

These terms are between you (the parent or carer entering into this agreement, "you") and Haidar Web Services Ltd, trading as Level Up Tuition Centre, registered in England and Wales under company number 17327578, whose registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ ("we", "us", "Level Up"). You can contact us at hello@leveluptuition.uk or 07767 017992.

2. What we provide

We provide class tuition in English, Mathematics, Science and 11+ preparation at our centre in Birmingham. We will tell you the timetable and start date before you make any payment.

We teach in full-size classes, not small groups. Our model puts the investment into teaching quality rather than pupil-to-teacher ratio, and we do not offer or imply one-to-one or small-group attention. If small-group tuition is what you are looking for, we are not the right provider and we would rather say so now.

We are an independent tuition provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any school, the King Edward VI Foundation, or the West Midlands Grammar Schools consortium. We do not guarantee any examination result, grade, or offer of a school place. Tuition supports a child's learning; it does not determine the outcome.

3. Booking and your right to cancel

A place is confirmed only when we have acknowledged it in writing and payment has been received. Places are allocated in the order enquiries are received.

Your statutory 14-day cancellation right. Because you are booking at a distance (online), the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract, for any reason, and receive a full refund. If you ask us to begin tuition within that 14-day period, we may charge you for the sessions actually delivered before you cancelled.

To cancel, tell us in writing at hello@leveluptuition.uk. You do not need to give a reason.

4. Fees

Our weekly programme fees are:

Programme First 20 pupils Thereafter
One subject — 70 minutes per week £15/week
whichever combination
is taken
£15/week
Two subjects £20/week
Three subjects — 3½ hours per week £25/week

For pupils not on the founding rate, fees are £15 per week for the first subject and £5 per week for each additional subject, subject to a maximum of £25 per week however many sessions are attended.

Founding rate — first 20 pupils. The first 20 pupils to enrol pay £15 per week for all three subjects and hold that rate for 12 months from the date they start. At the end of those 12 months the standard rate applies, and we will give you at least 30 days' written notice before it takes effect.

Results Day rate — 20 further places, released 20 August 2026. A second group of 20 pupils may enrol at £15 per week for all three subjects, held until 31 January 2027. From 1 February 2027 the standard rate of £25 per week applies. This is a shorter discount period than the founding rate, and we say so plainly at the point of sale so that nobody is in any doubt about what they are buying.

Both rates are limited to 20 pupils each and are allocated in the order that enrolments are completed and paid. If the places are taken before you enrol, we will tell you before you pay anything.

If you end your agreement and later wish to rejoin, the rate then current will apply. The founding rate is not reserved once a place has been given up.

11+ preparation is charged separately and is not included in the founding rate or the £25 weekly cap:

Weekly programmes are billed monthly in advance. Fees are payable whether or not your child attends a particular session, except as set out in section 7.

5. Keeping your place

Places are limited, and the founding places especially so. We ask only that the place is used.

Absences you have told us about never count. Illness, family circumstances, a hospital appointment, a holiday — tell us and the place is held. This clause exists only to release places that have quietly been abandoned, so that a child on the waiting list can use them. It is not a punishment for being ill.

If we release a place under this clause we will refund any fees paid for sessions not yet delivered, and we will tell you in writing before we do it.

6. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments UK Ltd. We do not receive or store your card details. By paying you also accept Stripe's own terms. If a payment fails we will contact you; we may suspend a place if fees remain unpaid after 14 days.

7. Missed sessions, cancellation and refunds

8. Assessment before joining

Every pupil is assessed before starting, so that we can place them appropriately. The assessment is not competitive and pupils are not refused a place for being behind. We may decline or defer a place where we do not believe we can teach a child effectively in a full-size class, and we will explain our reasoning if we do.

9. Conduct and removal of a place

Everyone working with children at Level Up holds an enhanced DBS check. We ask that children attend on time, treat staff and other pupils with respect, and follow reasonable instructions.

Every place carries one condition: the pupil is here to learn, and does not prevent others from learning. Where a pupil repeatedly and deliberately disrupts teaching, we will:

We may remove a pupil immediately, without the steps above, where their conduct puts anyone's safety at risk.

What this does not mean. A pupil who finds the work difficult, who is quiet, who is disengaged because they are struggling, or who has additional needs, is not a conduct issue and will not be treated as one. This clause addresses deliberate, repeated disruption of other children's learning — nothing else.

Fees if a place is withdrawn. We will refund fees you have paid for sessions not yet delivered. We do not refund sessions already delivered. Where you have paid a block in advance, we will refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis.

Where we are required to, we will share safeguarding concerns with the appropriate authorities.

You are responsible for your child's travel to and from the centre, and for collecting them promptly. We are not responsible for children outside session times.

10. Changes

We may change the timetable, venue, group composition or teaching staff where we reasonably need to. We will give you as much notice as we can. If a change is significant and you do not accept it, you may cancel and we will refund fees paid for tuition not yet delivered.

11. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else which cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with this agreement is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for examination results, school admission decisions, or any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when this agreement was made.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to services carried out with reasonable care and skill.

12. Your data

We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: we collect the parent's contact details, not the child's, at enquiry stage.

13. Complaints

If something is wrong, tell us at hello@leveluptuition.uk and we will respond within 5 working days. We would always rather fix it than lose you.

14. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. This agreement is between you and us; no one else may enforce it.
